Airport Minority Advisory Council Spotlights Appliedinfo

Newsletter Features a Profile of Appliedinfo Partners

Somerset, NJ – The Airport Minority Advisory Council (AMAC), a national, non-profit, trade association that promotes participation of minority, women-owned and disadvantaged business enterprises (M/W/DBE) in airport contracts, has featured Appliedinfo Partners in its Fall 2003 newsletter.

The article profiles Appliedinfo as a strong proponent of accurate accounting in supply chain management, and the first to pioneer a software application that creates automated mechanisms to manage and measure suppliers' profiles and activities, contract dollars, goals, and actual procurement expenditures… and that interface seamlessly with legacy financial systems used by large enterprises. There is also an exciting profile of Appliedinfo's D2 Creative division, spotlighting recent projects from television production in China to Quest for Justice, a landmark documentary about Legal Services of New Jersey, an organization that provides legal aid to the poor.

The relationship between Appliedinfo and AMAC has been mutually beneficial. Appliedinfo is an active member of AMAC. The company serves on the Communications Committee and John Lau, president, is AMAC's Treasurer and Finance Committee Chair. AMAC benefits from valuable video and digital pictures archive services provided by Appliedinfo's D2 Creative division, while the relationship enables Appliedinfo to build its ties to the minority business communities.
