NEW! China: A New Focus Video Can Now Be Viewed Online
China: A New Focus, a video travelogue produced by the D2 Creative division of Appliedinfo Partners, Inc., has been posted to this site.
The program was shot in high-definition video as a demonstration of that technology's viability as a mass-market medium. The footage was captured in Hong Kong and in the Guangdong, and Shandong provinces.
The project was initiated by John Lau, Appliedinfo's President, to conduct the technological exploration and to document China's untarnished natural scenery, landscape, and architecture.
China: A New Focus features images, not readily available to foreigners, that juxtapose the cosmopolitan excitement of modern cities and ancient traditions in rural China. It takes the viewer from bustling food markets and industrious farmlands to serene Buddhist temples and natural settings, and spotlights Chinese culture through images of artisans at work and theatrical performances.
Appliedinfo will present the video and other multimedia-related at its exhibit at the world's largest electronic media show -- National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) convention in Las Vegas this April. Appliedinfo will also host the Chinese Delegation of Television Professionals and present a seminar on how Americans should do business in China.
